The School Day

Early Years Foundation Stage
The entrance for Nursery and Reception children is next to the main entrance to school.  In the morning the doors will be opened at 8:30am and closed at 9am.  Late children should be taken to the main entrance to school where staff will take them to their Nursery/Reception class. 

Nursery

Morning session        8:30am to 11:30am

At the end of the session staff will hand children over to their parents.

 

Doors will open at 12:30pm for afternoon Nursery and close at 12:40pm

 

Afternoon session    12:30pm to 3:30pm

At the end of the school day doors will open at 3:30pm when staff will hand children over to their parents.   

 

Reception

Children can come into class from 8:50am, they will be met by a member of Reception staff, Mrs Blair or Mrs Hinningan. Registration will take place at 9am and the day will end at 3:10pm.

 

All Reception children will have a lunch from 11:45am to 1pm and are fully supervised by school staff.

 

Key Stage One and Two (Years 1-6)

Key Stage One and Two children arrive to school through the gates on Mossway onto the school playground.  These gates are opened from 7:50am (for Breakfast Club) and closed at 9:05am, children arriving after this time should be brought to school via the main entrance where they will be recorded late by the office staff.

 

Children are able to come into class from 8:50am and will be supervised by school staff.  The school day will begin with registration at 9am and any child arriving after this time will be marked late. 

 

Children will go for lunch at 12noon to 1pm.  The afternoon session will end at 3:15pm.

 

At break times and lunch hours all children are fully supervised by school staff.

 

The playground gates will be re-opened at 3pm and closed at 3:30pm. 

 

Children attending after school clubs can be collected from the main entrance to school at 4:15pm.
