Homework for this week is to create a Maya temple.
The temple can be 2D or 3D and as elaborate or simple as you like. However, the temple must be as accurate as possible.

Representatives from Y6 had the opportunity to attend the launch event for the 'In My Life' diary writing competition. We got to listen to readings from the Liverpool born author Frank Cottrell Boyce and watch performances of diary readings and poetry. There was even time to visit the great reading room in the library and visit the movie set which was shooting outside.
This week we have started to look at what makes a good news report. We even had a go at writing and performing our own TV news report introduction.
