Thank you for all of your wonderful chocolate donations in support of Odd Sock Day for the Christmas Bonanza - they are very much appreciated.

Remembrance 2017

The children have been working hard writing about Remembrance Sunday and Flanders Fields.  They have also created some beautiful art work to remember those who have lost their lives serving our country in the Armed Forces.

                             LFC Players visiting OLSS                 

 

           On March 8th, we were visited by two LFC stars, Emre Can and Dejan Lovren. They shared some of their skills, insights and knowledge with the pupils here at OLSS. As part of our LFC sporting activities in school, the pupils worked with the footballers and Patrick, our LFC coach, on top tips for passing and dribbling.

We have also been reading with the football club and it was fantastic for us to have both players visit our library. Emre chose to read Elmer in the story chair which was a delight for our nursery children.
