Welcome to the Year 2 Class Page!
Our class teacher is Miss Lundy and our teaching assistants are Miss Parry and Miss Daly.
We are excited to be back in school and are looking forward to learning new things and making new memories with our friends.

To support home learning, we can utilise various online and offline platforms. Your teacher will set assignments and activities via Seesaw, Reading Plus (for some pupils), IXL, Pixl and CGP books.
Seesaw
Seesaw is the main point of contact for teachers setting and assessing children’s work at home. Seesaw works on every device type including Chromebooks, computers, iOS devices, Android devices as well as Kindle devices! Your child is familiar with using Seesaw in class on a regular basis.

How to access your Seesaw class
Step 1: Open the Seesaw Class app on iOS or Android. Or go to app.seesaw.me on any computer in Chrome or Firefox browser.
Step 2: Choose I’m a Student
Step 3: Enter your home learning code. Your home learning code will be provided on a separate letter and must be kept safe. Never share you code with anyone.
Reading Plus (for some pupils)
Your child will know if they have a reading plus login
Our school is using the Reading Plus program to help your child become a better reader. Reading Plus helps students develop the skills they need to be proficient readers and lifelong learners. Children should complete 5 reading assignments per week aiming for 80% comprehension score.
How to log in:

IXL - Passwords will be given via seesaw when IXL is set as an activity.
IXL is a comprehensive learning programme offering unlimited maths and English practice across thousands of skills—all of which are aligned to the national curriculum
