Breakfast Club/After School Clubs

Breakfast Club at Our Lady & St Swithin’s Catholic Primary School

Monday to Friday 8am to 8.45am (Children must arrive before 8:15am)

Our Breakfast Club is free to all children (Reception to Y6) from 13/04/26.

At Breakfast Club children can meet with their friends and other children in the canteen supervised by school staff. A healthy breakfast will be provided with children sat together calmly around the tables. Breakfast is eaten and enjoyed with others in a warm, soothing environment and is a positive and sociable way to start the day – this also helps to set the tone for the day ahead. We offer a variety of fun games and activities for children to support their learning.

Missing breakfast can have negative impact in the classroom, we therefore aim to ensure every child has the best start to their day with a healthy breakfast which will boost concentration, improve behaviour and enhance their academic performance.

Breakfast Club is particularly useful for working parents.

Children can choose from: A range of healthy cereals, toast, muffins, croissants, pancakes, yogurts and fresh fruit.

During SAT’s week we encourage Year 6 to attend. The relaxed atmosphere of the Breakfast Club will ensure a calm start to each day of SATs week.

Afterschool Clubs at Our Lady & St Swithin’s Catholic Primary School

After school Clubs at Our Lady and St Swithin’s Catholic Primary School are fun and engaging each night of school. All clubs must be booked on School Spider. If your child does not attend for 2 weeks their place will be offered out to other children.
