Spanish

At Our Lady and St Swithin’s, we believe that learning a modern foreign language enriches pupils’ education and provides a valuable cultural, social and linguistic experience. We aim to foster curiosity, broaden horizons, and develop the confidence to communicate in another language.

Our chosen language is Spanish, reflecting both the popularity of the language globally and its usefulness for pupils’ future study. Lessons are taught by a specialist language teacher from School Improvement Liverpool (SIL), ensuring high-quality teaching and progression across Key Stage 2.
