Vision and Values

Gospel Values and British Values support GDPR

Our Lady and St. Swithin Cathollic Primary School

Promoting British Values and Christian Gospel Values and understanding of the need to implement GDPR in our school.

The Social, Spiritual, Moral and Cultural Development of pupils is important to us and one way in which we foster this is by promoting

our ‘Gospel Values’ alongside our British Values. Our policies, procedures and daily teaching are underpinned by these values.

These values support pupils understanding of GDPR and the Rights of children in school.

Our weekly Monday assembly for whole school, key stage and class collective worship are based around the Gospel Values, which

forms an important focus in the daily life of our school.

The work of the Apostle group, wellbeing and school council is underpinned by the UN Convention of Rights of children and we

have linked these to Gospel and British Values to embed them within our school life and support pupils in the understanding of

GDPR regulations.
