Hello and a very warm welcome to our Year 1 class page!
We are Miss Lundy and Mrs Hinnigan, and we are so excited to be part of your child's learning journey this year. Year 1 is a wonderful time full of discovery, growing independence, and lots of fun as we build on everything learned in Reception and take on exciting new challenges together.
In our classroom, we aim to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child feels confident, supported, and inspired to do their best. From phonics and number work to creative writing, science, and story time – no two days are ever the same!
We look forward to working closely with you throughout the year to support your child's progress and celebrate their successes. Please do check this page regularly for updates, news, and snapshots of the fantastic learning happening in Year 1.
