Our pupils had a fantastic time getting involved in a community litter-picking activity. Working together as a team, the children helped to keep our local area clean and tidy while learning about the importance of caring for our environment. They showed great enthusiasm, responsibility and teamwork throughout the morning, and were proud to see the positive difference they could make in their community. A big well done to everyone who took part!
We were delighted to join children and staff from other local schools at Monksdown Primary School to help plan the next Say No to Knives event.
Our children were fantastic and shared lots of thoughtful and creative ideas about how we can work together to raise awareness and help keep our local community safe. They are already incredibly excited about taking part in the upcoming relay run, which will help us raise much-needed funds.
The money raised will support the provision of stab kits in our local area, helping to ensure that vital first-aid equipment is available when it is needed most. We are also very grateful to Mini Medics, who will be helping to provide our children with important first-aid training and knowledge, empowering them with the skills and confidence to respond in an emergency.
It was wonderful to see our children working alongside others, sharing ideas and showing such enthusiasm for making a positive difference. Their energy, compassion and commitment are a real credit to our school community.
We can't wait to get running! 🏃♂️🏃♀️💙
